Teenage training in pregnancy reduction and HIV prevention
$0 of $196 raised
Teenage pregnancy is a significant contributing factor to why many young girls do not complete their schooling. Many teenage girls are not involved with discussions of reproductive health, leaving them in the dark about their own bodies. This project will promote and facilitate discussion among girls, parents, and school leaders about pregnancy. Parents and teachers will be trained to create a comfortable, supportive environment in which girls can ask and discuss anything they want. We need grants to cover the workshop to purchase training materials.
Goal: 196 USD to sponsor one day of training workshops for 50 attendees.
